GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Whether you are a Fedgroup Trails member, taking part in the Fedgroup Cradle 100, or entering any other event, preparation requires discipline, endurance and knowledge. Before you hit the hills, be sure to read the fine print below.
SCOPE AND DEFINITIONS
These General Terms and Conditions apply to (a) your membership of, and any use of, the Fedgroup Trails venue (“the Venue”), and (b) your entry into and participation in the Fedgroup Cradle 100 event and any other event organised, hosted or promoted by any one or more of the Organisers (each, “an Event”), whether or not that Event is separately named in these terms. Where an Event has its own entry waiver and/or rules (such as the Fedgroup Cradle 100 Rules 2026 and the Cradle 100 Entry Waiver), those documents apply in addition to these General Terms and Conditions and govern anything specific to that Event; if there is a direct conflict, the Event-specific document prevails for that Event.
“the Organisers” means Grande Ideas (Pty) Ltd, Avianto (Pty) Ltd and Ilumin8 Events (Pty) Ltd, together with their officers, employees, agents, sponsors, contractors, affiliates and successors, and any other entity appointed by them to organise or manage the Venue or an Event.
“Minor” means a person under the age of 18.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY AND PARTICIPATION
The following conditions apply to everyone entering the Venue and/or participating in an Event:
All participants and other entrants are required to read and acknowledge the indemnity board (where applicable) and complete the applicable indemnity form before entering the Venue or participating in an Event.
You agree to behave appropriately at all times, whether as a Venue member, trail user or Event participant, including by obeying all laws, these General Terms and Conditions, trail rules, signage, directions of officials and any Event rules. You understand that your entry or use may be voided if, in the Organisers’ opinion, your actions or behaviour have broken these rules or brought the Venue or an Event into disrepute. You further understand that the Organisers reserve the right to reject any entry or use without having to justify that decision.
All Venue users and Event participants under the age of 18 (Minors) must have a parent or legal guardian read and accept the applicable waiver on their behalf. By accompanying a Minor, you represent that you are that Minor’s parent or authorised guardian, and you give these acknowledgements and indemnities on behalf of yourself and every accompanying Minor. All trail users agree to wear a helmet at all times on the trails.
Some parts of the Venue are not open to participants and visitors, for safety and other reasons. You must not enter fenced-off, marked-off or private areas, or any area to which access is denied.
You grant the Organisers permission to use your photograph, video, multimedia and/or likeness captured while you are using the Venue or participating in an Event, without payment or compensation to you. These items become the sole property of the Organisers, who may use them for any legitimate purpose, including promotional, advertising and marketing activities.
INDEMNITY
By entering the Venue and/or participating in an Event, you agree to the following:
You are warned, and you acknowledge and accept, that the Venue and any Event held on or in connection with it (including the Fedgroup Cradle 100) are recreational activities that could be inherently dangerous and involve risks and dangers, both known and unknown, natural and man-made, which may result in loss of or damage to your property, personal injury or even death. Knowing this, if you choose to enter the Venue and/or participate in an Event, you do so entirely at your own risk and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and indemnify the Organisers from and against any claim or liability of any nature relating to injury or death, whether yours or a third party’s, arising from your or any accompanying person’s or Minor’s entry to the Venue and/or participation in an Event, regardless of how the injury, death, loss or damage is caused, including where caused by the Organisers’ negligence. Nothing in this clause excludes or limits liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You understand that the Organisers reserve the right to alter the advertised Venue or Event, and to postpone, reschedule or cancel an Event or entry to the Venue, if conditions warrant it or otherwise at the Organisers’ sole discretion, including where natural or man-made emergencies (such as pandemics, weather conditions, natural disaster, acts of God, terrorism or war) make it unreasonable to continue. Fees already paid will not be refunded as a result, except as set out in the Transfers, Refunds and Cancellation Policy below, or in the applicable Event’s own refund policy.
You acknowledge that any property or equipment you bring onto the Venue or to an Event is at your own risk, and you release the Organisers from and against any claim or liability relating to loss of or damage to that property, even where the loss or damage is caused by the Organisers’ negligence, default or breach of contract, save that nothing in this clause excludes or limits liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Vehicles parked on the property are parked entirely at your own risk.
In addition, you agree that the Organisers may use the information contained in your entry or membership form for purposes connected with the Venue or an Event, or for any other event promoted or conducted by the Organisers, and to send you details of other products, services and events from time to time, all in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Your rights in respect of that information, including how to access, correct or object to its use, are set out in the Privacy Policy and in the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The participant or member unconditionally and irrevocably indemnifies and holds harmless the Organisers and their successors against all losses, claims, proceedings, actions, damages (direct, consequential or otherwise), liability, demands, expenses, legal costs (on an attorney-and-own-client basis) and medical costs, however arising out of, based upon, or in connection with, directly or indirectly, that person’s use of the Venue and/or participation in an Event, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Nothing in this clause excludes or limits liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
If a participant or member contravenes these General Terms and Conditions, any Event rules, or the conditions of entry, their membership and/or entry may be cancelled at the Organisers’ discretion.
The laws of the Republic of South Africa govern the Venue, every Event, and all persons entering or participating in them.
The Organisers reserve the right to cancel or alter any aspect of the Venue or an Event at any time, at their sole discretion, without liability, save as otherwise set out in these General Terms and Conditions or in the applicable Event’s own terms.
Members, visitors and participants understand and agree that, in order to offer the Venue and any Event, the Organisers must collect and use personal information about them. This is done in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
These General Terms and Conditions are subject to change at the Organisers’ discretion.
Any reference to “the Organisers” in these General Terms and Conditions, the Cradle 100 Entry Waiver, the Fedgroup Cradle 100 Rules 2026 and the Privacy Policy includes the following operating entities:

TRANSFERS, REFUNDS AND CANCELLATION POLICY (FEDGROUP TRAILS MEMBERSHIP)
Please note that, by activating your Fedgroup Trails membership, you accept that you are subject to the cancellation terms below. If you are entering the Fedgroup Cradle 100 event or another specific Event, that Event’s own refund, substitution and cancellation policy (see the Cradle 100 Entry Waiver, or the applicable Event’s entry waiver) applies instead of this section.
You understand and acknowledge that all fees and associated costs (including optional product purchases and donations) paid for your Fedgroup Trails membership are NOT REFUNDABLE FOR ANY REASON, under any circumstances, including but not limited to injury, a scheduling conflict, or the cancellation of an Event.
If the Venue is closed due to weather conditions, natural disaster, acts of God, terrorism, war, or any other reason the Organisers reasonably consider warrants closure, no refunds will be issued.
This document, together with the Privacy Policy and, where applicable, an Event’s own entry waiver and rules, contains the terms on which the Organisers make the Venue and any Event available.
PRIVACY POLICY
Welcome to our privacy policy. We respect your privacy and take the protection of personal information very seriously. The purpose of this policy is to describe the way that we collect, store, use, and protect information that can be associated with you or another specific natural or juristic person and can be used to identify you or that person.
This Privacy Policy applies together with the General Terms and Conditions and, where you are entering the Fedgroup Cradle 100 or another event, that event’s own entry waiver and rules.
This policy applies to you if you are:
- a visitor to our website;
- use our mobile App; or
- a customer who has ordered or requested the products or services that we provide.
Your rights under this Privacy Policy
You have the right to have your personal information processed lawfully. Your rights include the right:
- to be notified that your personal information is being collected or that your personal information has been accessed or acquired by an unauthorised person e.g. where a hacker may have compromised our computer system;
- to find out whether we hold your personal information and to request access to your personal information;
- to request us, where necessary, to correct, destroy or delete your personal information;
- to object, on reasonable grounds, to the processing of your personal information;
- to object to the processing of your personal information for purposes of direct marketing, including by way of unsolicited communications;
- to submit a complaint to the Information Regulator (established under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013) if you believe that there has been interference with the protection of your personal information, or if you believe that an independent adjudicator resolving your complaint against us has not decided the matter correctly; and
- to institute civil proceedings against us if you believe that we have interfered with the protection of your personal information.
Personal information
Personal information includes:
- certain information that we collect automatically when you visit our website or mobile App;
- certain information collected on registration (see below);
- certain information collected on submission; and
- optional information that you provide to us voluntarily (see below); but excludes:
- information that has been made anonymous so that it does not identify a specific person;
- permanently de-identified information that does not relate, or cannot be traced back, to you specifically;
- non-personal statistical information collected and compiled by us; and
- information that you have provided voluntarily in an open, public environment or forum including any blog, chat room, community, classifieds, or discussion board (because the information has been disclosed in a public forum, it is no longer confidential and does not constitute personal information subject to protection under this policy).
We will not intentionally collect and process the personal information of a child unless we have the permission of a competent or authorised person.

Common examples of the types of personal information which we may collect and process include your:
- identifying information – such as your name, date of birth, or identification number of any kind;
- contact information – such as your phone number or email address;
- address information – such as your physical or postal address; or
- demographic information – such as your gender or marital status.

Common examples of the types of sensitive personal information which we may collect and process include your:
- financial information – such as your bank account details;
- sensitive demographic information – such as your race or ethnicity;
- medical information – such as information about your physical or mental health;
- criminal information – such as information about your commission or alleged commission of any offence or about any related legal proceedings;
- employment information – including your membership of a trade union.
Acceptance
- It is important that you read, understand and accept both this Privacy Policy and our General Terms and Conditions before you use our services. You must accept this policy when you order our products or request our services. If you do not agree with anything in this policy, you may not order our products or request our services.
Deemed acceptance
- By accepting this policy, you are deemed to have read, understood, accepted, and agreed to be bound by all of its terms.
Your obligations
- You may only send us your own personal information or the information of another data subject where you have their permission to do so.

- We may change the terms of this policy at any time by updating this web page. Please ensure that you visit our website and regularly read this Privacy Policy. Although we do not promise to do so, we may give you notice of any changes we think are important.
- If you do not agree with the changes, then you must stop using the website or mobile App and our products or services. If you continue to use the website, mobile App or our products or services following notification of a change to the terms, the changed terms will apply to you and you will be deemed to have accepted those updated terms.

- We may monitor and record any telephone calls that you make to us unless you specifically request us not to.
Purpose for collection
- We may use or process any personal information, products or services information, or optional information that you provide to us for the purposes you indicated when you agreed to provide it, or as otherwise set out in this policy. Processing includes gathering, disclosing and combining your personal information with other information.
- We generally collect and process your personal information for various purposes, including:
- products or services purposes – such as collecting applications or requests for and providing our products or services;
- marketing purposes – such as pursuing lawful related marketing activities;
- business purposes – such as internal audit, accounting, business planning, and joint ventures, disposals of business, or other proposed and actual transactions; and
- legal purposes – such as handling claims, complying with regulations, or pursuing good governance.
- We may use your usage information for the purposes described above and to:
- remember your information so that you will not have to re-enter it during your visit or the next time you access the website or mobile App;
- monitor website and mobile App usage metrics such as total number of visitors and pages accessed; and
- track your entries, submissions, and status in any promotions or other activities in connection with your usage of the website or mobile App.
Consent to collection
- We will get your consent to collect your personal information in accordance with applicable law when you provide us with it.
- We will obtain your consent to collect personal information:
- in accordance with applicable law;
- when you provide us with any registration information or optional information.

- We may use your personal information to fulfil our obligations to you.
Messages and updates
- We may send administrative messages and email updates to you about the products and services you subscribe to. In some cases, we may also send you primarily promotional messages. You can choose to opt-out of promotional messages and unsubscribe from email updates. We will not send you promotional messages unless you have chosen to opt-into them.

- other divisions or companies within the group of companies to which we belong so as to provide joint content and services like registration, for transactions and customer support, to help detect and prevent potentially illegal acts and violations of our policies, and to guide decisions about our products, services, and communications (they will only use this information to send you marketing communications if you have requested their products or services);
- an affiliate, in which case we will seek to require the affiliates to honour this privacy policy;
- our products or services providers under contract who help provide certain products or services or help with parts of our business operations, including underwriting, fraud prevention, bill collection, marketing, technology services (our contracts dictate that these products or services providers only use your information in connection with the products or services they supply or services they perform for us and not for their own benefit);
- credit bureaus to report account information (where applicable), as permitted by law;
- banking partners as required by credit card association rules for inclusion on their list of terminated merchants (in the event that you utilise the services to receive payments and you meet their criteria); and
- other third parties who provide us with relevant services where appropriate.
We will ensure that your personal information is processed in a lawful manner and that the third parties or we do not infringe your privacy rights. In the event that we ever outsource the processing of your personal information to a third party operator, we will ensure that the operator processes and protects your personal information using reasonable technical and organisational measures that are equal to or better than ours.
Regulators
- We may disclose your personal information to regulators, third parties, or as otherwise required by law, for governmental audit, or for other legal reasons.
Law enforcement
- We may disclose personal information if required:
- by a subpoena or court order;
- to comply with any law;
- to protect the safety of any individual or the general public; and
- to prevent violation of our customer relationship terms.
No selling
- We will not sell personal information. No personal information will be disclosed to anyone except as provided in this privacy policy.
Marketing purposes
- We may disclose aggregate statistics (information about the customer population in general terms) to service providers or business partners.
Employees
- We may need to disclose personal information to our employees that require the personal information to do their jobs. These include our responsible management, human resources, accounting, audit, compliance, information technology, or other personnel.

- Our website and services are hosted on a secure server and uses security measures to prevent interference by intruders.
- We take the security of personal information very seriously and always do our best to comply with applicable data protection laws and to secure the integrity and confidentiality of your personal information in our possession or under our control. We will do this by taking appropriate, reasonable technical and organisational measures to prevent loss of, damage to or unauthorised destruction of your personal information; and unlawful access to or processing of your personal information. Our hosting company hosts our website and servers in a secure environment that uses a firewall and other advanced security measures to prevent interference or access from outside intruders. We authorise access to personal information only for those employees who require it to fulfil their job responsibilities. We implement disaster recovery procedures where appropriate.
updating and accuracy
- We will try to keep the personal information we collect as accurate, complete and up to date as is necessary for the purposes defined in this policy. From time to time we may request you to update your personal information on the website, mobile App or through other channels. You are able to review or update any personal information that we hold on you by accessing your account online, emailing us, or phoning us. Please note that in order to better protect you and safeguard your personal information, we take steps to verify your identity before granting you access to your account or making any corrections to your personal information.
retention
- We will only retain your personal information for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purposes explicitly set out in this policy, unless:
- retention of the record is required or authorised by law; or
- you have consented to the retention of the record.
- During the period of retention, we will continue to abide by our non-disclosure obligations and will not share or sell your personal information. We may retain your personal information in physical or electronic records at our discretion.
Transfer to another country
We will not transfer your personal information to a country other than the one in which it was collected, without your prior written consent.
Updating or removing
- You may choose to correct or update the personal information you have submitted to us, by completing a Request for Correction or Deletion of Personal Information form in the relevant menu in the pages on our website or contacting us by phone or email.
Limitation
- We are not responsible for, give no warranties, nor make any representations in respect of the privacy policies or practices of linked or any third-party websites.

Fedgroup Cradle 100 Rules 2026
These Rules apply to the Fedgroup Cradle 100 event only, and must be read together with the Cradle 100 Entry Waiver and the General Terms and Conditions, which define “the Organisers” and set out the indemnities, waiver and refund policy that apply alongside these Rules.
Basic MTB Rules & Etiquette
- Riders must complete the entire route, and the responsibility for following the official route lies with the rider.
- A rider is not permitted to take any shortcuts or take advantage of a similar nature against competitors.
- Riders who exit the course for any reason must return to the course at the same point from which they exited.
- Any walking, running or riding by a rider, carried out without the intention of directly re-joining the course, or other activity in breach of the regulations, which takes place outside of the marked course area, can result in disqualification.
- A rider cannot receive any technical assistance along the course from an outside party.
- Riders must respect the countryside and ride only on the official route.
Conditions of Participation
- Participants must be in good physical condition to participate.
- The minimum age to enter the 45km or two-day event is 16 years.
- The minimum age to enter the 25km is 11 years.
- The minimum age to enter the 10km Fun Ride is 7 years.
- A rider’s age is determined to be the age he/she would be on 31 December of that year.
Withdrawal
- Participants who wish to withdraw from the race must inform the organisers immediately on the Velocourse/ilumin8 Emergency Number +27 82 786 2988(WhatsApp only).
- Failure to inform the race directors may cause a search and rescue action the cost of which will be for the participant’s account.
- Merely informing another participant or a marshal on the route shall not be deemed sufficient notice of withdrawal. In such an instance, the race organisers cannot be held liable for any costs involving a search party.
Fair Play
- Slower participants must make way for faster riders.
- Riders must take caution when the route is not clear or coming to an intersection or road crossing.
- Riders should be prepared to brake before steep down-hills.
- Riders must obey all traffic rules.
- Bike repairs should be done in a visible area on the edge of the trail, road or path and not on the trail itself.
- In case of a sprint to the finish, you must hold your line.
- No outside seconding or assistance is permitted under any circumstances. Outside assistance includes assisting with bike maintenance, water and nutrition support and physically assisting riders.
Rider Identification
- Riders must display their race numbers at all times.
- Bike numbers must be firmly fixed on the front of the bike and may not be obscured by cables or any other item.
- Race numbers may not be modified or mutilated in any way, including cutting, adding stickers, removing existing stickers or trimming.
- Removing or obscuring any official sponsor logos or advertising may result in disqualification from the race.
Nutrition & Water Points
- Riders retain the ultimate responsibility to carry enough water and nutrition with them.
- Velocourse/ilumin8 will provide water at official water points on the route.
Safety & Bad Sportsmanship
- These rules are essential to the safety of riders and if disregarded may lead to immediate disqualification. Velocourse/ilumin8 has the right to disqualify any participant on the following grounds:
- Technical or equipment problems.
- If a rider has been declared medically unfit to ride by a medical official.
- Disregarding any of the fair play rules.
- Unsportsmanlike behaviour.
- ”Pushing” or “pulling” by a third party.
- Any disrespect to the environment or race personnel.
- Not wearing a helmet.
- All helmets must comply with international ‘ANSI’ standards.
- Appropriate riding attire, including a shirt, must be worn at all times.
- Smoking on the route is not permitted.
Environment
- We will enforce littering, cutting trails and environmental abuse with stiff penalties. Every participant who is caught disregarding the environment will be fined with a five (5) hundred Rand penalty for the first offence and disqualification for the second offence.
- In the case of environmental concerns, Velocourse/ilumin8 has the right to cancel, delay or reroute the race. Participants will not be reimbursed in a situation where the event or part of an event had to be cancelled due to environmental conditions that were out of Velocourse/ilumin8’s control.
Event Batching
- Please make sure you start in your allocated batch.
- If you do need to change your batch for whatever reason, please arrange a batch change with the registration personnel before the start of your race.
- Starting in a batch earlier than the one allocated to you will result in disqualification.
- Starting in a batch later than your allocated batch, will not lead to disqualification, but your time will reflect incorrectly.
Race Timing and Prizes
- Riders have to report to the start line at least 30 minutes before the start of their race.
- Riders will be briefed 15 minutes before the start.
- In the event of a batched start, riders will be briefed before the start of each batch.
- The start line will remain open for 15 minutes after the start “signal”.
- Timing will start with the start “signal”.
- Riders that do not reach designated cut-off points in time will be prevented from continuing and will be swept from the course and classified as DNF (did not finish).
- Cut-off points can be enforced at any time if the organisers deem the situation as unsafe.
- Riders who start in a batch higher than the one they were batched in, will be summarily disqualified.
- Riders may start in a group lower down. The responsibility lies with the rider to report this to the timing personnel to ensure accurate times.
- Riders are only eligible for the overall prize podium if they started in the first batch of a particular distance.
- Riders must be present at prize giving to receive their prize. Awarding of prizes not collected at prize giving are awarded solely at the discretion of the event organisers.
Discretion of the Race Director
- Where any additional rule interpretation is required, or where specific provision for any incident has not been made in these rules, the decision of the race director will be final.
- There will be no reimbursement of costs to the participant in case of disqualification.
E-bike Rules
- The E-bike category does not fall under UCI rules and is “unregulated”. Due to the fact that we have no control over how riders manipulate their E-bikes’ maximum speed, we are unable to award Prizes or Prize Money. The E-bike category is, therefore, not a competitive category but a social one.
Indemnity
- The Organisers, sponsors, volunteers and event personnel are not responsible for any injury or damage that may occur during the event, or cancellations, delays or re-routing due to extreme weather (including, but not limited to, heat, tornadoes, earthquakes, fires, storms, lightning and floods), accidents, acts of war or terrorism, military conflicts or riots, pandemic or endemic outbreaks, or for any reason that, in the Organisers’ discretion, will protect the safety and security of Event participants and spectators. In the event of such cancellation, there will be no refund of entry fees.
- By entering this event, participants agree that the Organisers (which includes Velocourse/ilumin8 as the appointed event organiser), and their officers, directors, employees, volunteers and sponsors, shall not be held responsible for any death, illness, injury, loss or damage of any kind sustained by any rider while participating in this event and all related activities, caused in any manner whatsoever. This exclusion of liability includes negligence of any kind but excludes gross negligence to the extent required by law.
- Participants consent to receive medical assistance or emergency treatment deemed necessary by event medical personnel and accept responsibility for all related costs. Participants must disclose any medical conditions that may affect their ability to participate.
- The Organisers accept no liability arising from equipment failure of any kind.
Refund Policy
- The refund, substitution and cancellation policy for this event – including the position on Force Majeure and on refunds for illness or other exceptional circumstances – is set out in the Cradle 100 Entry Waiver.
Cradle 100 Entry Waiver
This Cradle 100 Entry Waiver applies specifically to your entry into and participation in the Fedgroup Cradle 100 event. It must be read together with the Fedgroup Cradle 100 Rules 2026 and the General Terms and Conditions, which set out the definitions (including “the Organisers”) and the terms, indemnities and policies that apply more generally. Where this Waiver is silent, the General Terms and Conditions apply.
IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: this Waiver contains releases, indemnities and exclusions of liability that affect your legal rights and the legal rights of any minor on whose behalf you sign.
I, the signatory, hereby acknowledge and understand the Fedgroup Cradle 100 Rules 2026 governing my participation in this event. In consideration of the acceptance of my entry, I, for myself, my executors, heirs, administrators and assigns, hereby release and discharge the Organisers, their partners, all sponsors and brands associated with the event, all landowners over whose land the event traverses in any way, all volunteer groups, and all local authorities, including all employees of the aforesaid, from all claims for death, injury, illness, damage or property loss that I and/or anybody accompanying me may suffer however caused, including but not limited to the negligent acts and/or omissions of any of them, and arising out of my participation in this event, including pre- and post-event activities. Nothing in this Waiver excludes or limits liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
I am aware of the risks and potential hazards involved in an event of this nature and will participate entirely at my own risk. I will adhere to the Fedgroup Cradle 100 Rules 2026 and the safety measures the Organisers deem necessary.
I acknowledge that the Organisers have the right to alter the course of the event in any way, or even cancel it, should they determine that participant safety is compromised, or for any other reason they deem appropriate.
I confirm that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained to participate in this endurance event and assume all risks of such participation. I do not have any current heart ailments, or history of such. I specifically direct that, should evacuation from the route be required and/or should any emergency medical services or treatment be required, the cost of such rescue service and/or medical costs incurred, if any, will be for the account of the participant.

FAMILY EVENTS WHERE MINORS CAN REGISTER
I accordingly hereby indemnify and hold harmless the Organisers to the fullest extent permitted by law, against any claims occasioned as a result of my participation in the event of whatsoever nature or however caused, including, without limitation, any loss, injury, harm, illness, death or damage of whatsoever nature and however caused, arising directly or indirectly out of any act or omission, including negligent acts or omissions by the Organisers, and including any claim for consequential loss or damage, loss of profits, or any claim by any of my dependants arising from or in connection with my participation in the event. Nothing in this indemnity excludes or limits liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Rules and RegulationsI confirm that I understand the importance and meaning of this liability waiver, the release of claims and the indemnity, and that by agreeing to it I am waiving substantial legal rights (on my own behalf and on behalf of my dependants). I acknowledge that I have been free to secure independent legal and/or other advice as to the nature and effect of all the provisions of this Waiver, and that I have either taken such independent advice or have dispensed with the necessity of doing so. I acknowledge and confirm that I have read and understood the Fedgroup Cradle 100 Rules 2026 and this Waiver, and I accept the terms contained in them.
Kids Terms AND Conditions
I consent as the parent/guardian of the child being entered:
1. That the child’s general health is good and that there is nothing which renders him/her unfit to participate in the Fedgroup Cradle 100 event.
2. I understand and voluntarily assume the risks and dangers to which he/she could be subjected, and I hereby indemnify the Organisers, the event sponsors, partners, suppliers, and the persons assisting in the organisation of the event, from and against any actions, claims and/or liability for injury, death, loss or damage of any kind resulting, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in the Fedgroup Cradle 100 event. Nothing in this indemnity excludes or limits liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
3. I, together with my heirs, executors and administrators, release the Organisers, the event sponsors, partners, suppliers and the persons assisting in the organisation of the event, from any duty of care towards my child and from liability for any claims that could accrue to my child, or to me as executor or administrator, arising out of my child’s participation or any related activities in the Fedgroup Cradle 100 event.
4. I allow the Organisers, the event sponsors, partners, suppliers and the persons assisting in the organisation of the event, the irrevocable right to use and publish photographs, video and multimedia of my child taken while participating in the Fedgroup Cradle 100 event, for editorial, trade, advertising, educational or any other purpose, in any manner and medium, to alter the same without restriction, and to hold the copyright in the same without restriction.
5. I acknowledge that I am aware of all dates and conditions, and confirm that I have read the Fedgroup Cradle 100 Rules 2026 and the General Terms and Conditions.
REGISTER AS A GUARDIAN FOR A UNDER AGED PARTICIPANT
Terms and ConditionsI confirm that I am the parent and/or legal guardian of the participating minor. I confirm that I have read and understood this Waiver, which is required to be accepted by all participants entering the Fedgroup Cradle 100 event, and I confirm that I agree to this Waiver and accept the Fedgroup Cradle 100 Rules 2026 on behalf of the said minor. I confirm that I consent to the minor entering and participating in the Fedgroup Cradle 100 event, and I assume all risk and responsibility for that participation, understanding the inherent risk involved in an event of this nature, and I release the Organisers from all responsibility in this regard, save to the extent that liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
REFUND, SUBSTITUTION AND CANCELLATION POLICY (FEDGROUP CRADLE 100)
The Fedgroup Cradle 100 event has a cancellation policy pertaining to refunds. Full payment is required on entry. An entry is only confirmed on full payment of the entry fee.
- No refunds will be allowed, however, participants can defer entries to a new event.
- Substitutions will be allowed until race day 11/04/2026 at registration points. Online substitutions are available until midnight on 03/04/2026. No substitutions will be allowed after the race date 11/04/2026.
- Entries for the Fedgroup Cradle 100 event will close at midnight on 03/04/2026, or earlier if, in the Organisers’ discretion, capacity has been reached.
- No entry fee will be refunded for cancellation of the event due to Force Majeure (an act of God), including but not limited to adverse weather conditions, riots, strikes, political unrest, pandemic or endemic outbreak, or any other occurrence not within the Organisers’ control.
- No refund will be given where a participant cancels their own entry. The Organisers may, at their sole discretion, consider a refund in exceptional circumstances, such as illness or other extraordinary circumstances, and any such refund will be assessed on its own merits.
- This policy applies in addition to, and does not limit, the indemnities, disclaimers and other terms set out in this Waiver, the Fedgroup Cradle 100 Rules 2026, and the General Terms and Conditions.
